The Judicial Externship Placement enables students to serve as judicial externs with participating judges, magistrates or referees in State or Federal Courts.  Judicial externs work directly with the judge, magistrate or referee researching, writing memoranda of law, drafting opinions, and generally observing and participating in the day-to-day operation of the court.

Course Prerequisites

  1. This course is open to all students who have completed the first year of study.
  2. Students must have a GPA of no less than 2.75 (This requirement may be waived with instructor approval only).
