FIU Law Celebrates National Pro Bono Week with Day of Service

MIAMI (October 28, 2011) — The FIU Law Office of Externships and Community Service will cap off its weeklong celebration of National Pro Bono Week by hosting an FIU Law Day of Service with students, faculty and alumni. The Day of Service will provide members of our community an opportunity to meet with legal professionals in a number of practice areas including: Family Law, Foreclosures, Criminal Law and Immigration Law.

MIAMI (October 18, 2011) – The FIU Law Investor Advocacy Clinic team wins top spot in first-ever appearance at national securities dispute resolution negotiation competition.

The Annual Securities Dispute Resolution Triathlon sponsored by St. John’s Law School and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) was held at the Hugh L. Carey Center for Dispute Resolution in New York City.
